Whenever I begin a weight loss journey my mind always looks ahead in my path to see the results waiting at the very end. Doubt creeps in many times throughout. “I’m getting too old and my metabolism is much slower.” ” I’m not as athletic and can’t burn enough fat.” ” Do I really want to live without my favorite foods????” “Why is it that other people can enjoy ice cream or their favorite foods and be skinny and I can’t?”
I start to feel deprived before I even begin. These thoughts and doubts are on repeat as I begin a weight loss program.
My question is how do you stop the cycle of doubt, the feeling of limitations and enjoy the ride in the meantime??
