Is there a difference between an urge and just being hungry because I haven’t eaten in quite a while. Sometimes I want to eat before my meal time (and don’t do it, I wait). I’m committed to eating what is planned for that meal and don’t think there’s an emotion behind the urge to eat, so am I just hungry early? What do I do with that urge? Just wait it out til it’s time for my meal? (I’m intermittent fasting so I’m keeping to specific meal times.)
