Is it normal that urges get stronger? I feel like as I have been eliminating sugar from my diet I have experienced my urges increase in intensity. I normally would snack on something with artificial sweeteners everyday after lunch, after dinner, in my coffee. I am going cold turkey. Last night I barely slept, it was like I was dreaming of food all night. I am wondering if this is something that is normal. My thoughts about it is that it shouldn’t be happening. I am also not ok with not sleeping. I know those thoughts are optional and working on new thoughts.
