Using an app for planning food versus handwritten journal

Hi Brooke,

Do you think using a an app on my phone to plan my food (the day before) is as effective as writing it down in a journal? The apps give you data on what you’re doing – calories, macros, etc. Wondering if this may be a “bad” thing, like maybe that makes it more of a “diet” than just a new way of eating that I’m going to sustain throughout my life?

I’d love to hear your thoughts on it. Thank you!
