When you need to write your protocol 24 hours in advance, can it be the day before rather than exactly “24 hours”?

I am working on my social media buffering. I am choosing to check once a day for 1 hour at noon. I like writing my protocol the night before for the following day, and based on the messages I get during that noon period or ideas that come to me during the rest of the day I might want to be on social media at different times. So does just the day before work or do I need to work it out so it’s a full 24 hours?
