Hi Brooke – I wanted to share a win I just had recently. A year ago, when I started weight training with a trainer, I could only do 1 chin up. A couple of months ago, I was able to do 3-4… I had an ambition to be able to do more, so I told my trainer that I wanted to do 6 before the end of the year. He said, you can do it in 2 months (end of May). I wasn’t sure… but I asked him for a strategy, and I followed it (5 sets of 3 chin ups, 3 times week). And this past Thursday, he said, let’s do it. And just like that… I did. 6 chin ups, a month ahead of my goal! I. was. stoked. What a cool feeling!
Working with you has given me that courage, and belief, and the strength to feel empowered by my own abilities, Brooke! Now, I feel like I can do more. 8 by the end of May, and 10 by the end of the year? Who knows… maybe more!
