Actions for new thought pattern – feeling secure

I would like to practice a new thought pattern, as explained in “Coaching 101” and begin little actions at a time.

The old thought is around “People are dangerous, I have to be on my guards always to prevent aggression.”

The new thought would be, “I live in a secure country, not a war zone, most people are sympathetic, they live a normal life like me.” I feel reassured when I think this.

However, what kind of concrete actions should I take daily to enhance the pattern? Speaking calmly to people, being more friendly?

In the past, I think I focused on changing actions and results (I succeeded in not being shy anymore), but the pattern of fear of aggression remained the same.

Thank you for your help.
