Actual last 24 hours vs. last 24 hours on earth


Hello! My last 24 hours were things like staying on protocol, no sugar no flour, etc. When I did the exercise for my last 24 hours on earth, it was things like eating ice cream and watching movies. So my actual planned actions are with the perspective that “life is long and I need to take care of myself”, but my “last day on earth” perspective is that “life is short, I want immediate gratification”. They are opposite perspectives and now I am questioning if I should go back to eating ice cream because life is short! It doesn’t align with what I’m doing now, so I’m having some cognitive dissonance. Should I re-introduce excitement from food? Or stick with the process so the excitement from food will just totally go away? If life is short, I want all the ice cream lol.
