Allowing fear


Hello,

Should we always allow fear in any situation as part of the 50/50?
Is there any exceptions: for example: if we feel fear about being afraid, should I allow/process it?
I do not know how to recognize “necessary” negative emotion (part of the 50/50 that we need to allow) and “unnecessary” suffering?
What do we do with “unnecessary suffering”?
