Anger models


Hi Brooke,

I still find myself sometimes getting tripped up when the F line is anger. For example

C: someone leaves garbage near my door
T: what a jerk
F: angry
A: think about it all day
R: preoccupied all day don’t help people in my building

The problem is my intentional model
when I am angry either feels faked or snarky. I can come up with a positive thought or a neutral one but I don’t actually feel that way and the model ends up being a more sarcastic thought like “that person has problems or didn’t learn how to cohabitate”.

I don’t have trouble with other feelings but anger usually gets me stuck.
