Anger towards weight gain


I had a great coaching session yesterday where I was able to let go of the anger I felt toward myself for gaining weight during covid times.

The thought my coach helped me get to is, I did the best I could at that time. I truly believe it, and it really broke down that anger wall that I was facing as well as put me back on track to lose weight. The model looks like this :

C : current weight
T: I did the best I could
F: compassion
A: restart my protocol
R: lose weight

I’ve been feeling so much better, and more motivated. I guess it’s true that you can’t hate yourself skinny. I was trying to generate the feeling of excitement, but compassion towards yourself can get you there, something I didn’t know!
