I am working on cutting back chocolate and planning ahead when I’ll have it. I was watching the over drinking videos on urges. In one of them, Brookes suggests having something like sparkling water when going out instead of alcohol.
Could the same be said for food, so if I’m having the desire for chocolate can I just eat carrots or drink tea? Will that continue to reinforce the urge to want something sweet since I’m still answering it in a way? Or is the idea to have the tea or carrots while not resisting the urge for chocolate?
