Hi, I recently started a new high level job at work and am having thoughts that cause me a great deal of anxiety, particularly when I wake up first thing and then throughout the evening when I get home. I listened to Brooke’s podcast episode on “Who are you becoming?” and the idea of being your future Self now and rehearsing it. My issue is that when I think of my future Self, she does not think about work all day. She comes home confident and ready to focus on other things. However, when I try to do this and “act as if” I’m already her, it feels like I am resisting and repressing. How do we do this but still allow feelings? Thank you!
