Applying this model to kids


Hi Brooke,
I would really like to take your work and start applying it to the kids I work with in school (and my own at home). I have a kid that is in trouble a lot. He does not like to participate in PE or Music. I understand that he does not like those two classes and feel that he is entitled to not like them. The problem I am having though is that he still needs to participate in those classes because it is part of his curriculum. So, here is the model I did that he and I filled out but I am stuck. What do I do next? Try to help him change his thoughts about music to a neutral thought?

T: I do not like music. It is so noisy.
F: Unhappy
A: Don’t do anything, just sit there.
R: Sit in the corner
