Asking For a Friend

I have a friend that I find myself feeling very angry towards. For no particular reason that I can think of. Just every little thing that she does seems to irritate me lately. I have thoughts like, “She’s always trying to be the perfect housewife and mom. She always has to be the center of attention. It’s embarrassing when she’s always posting pictures of herself on FB trying to look sexy. She’s always trying to prove she’s a better mom than I am. Etc.” So I picked a thought and ran it through the model:

Unintentional Model
C: Friend
T: She’s always trying to prove she’s a better mom than I am.
F: anger
A: avoid her, blame her, judge her
R: put myself in competition with her

Intentional Model
C: Friend
T: She really enjoys being a stay-at-home mom.
F: more compassionate
A: allow her to be herself, not judge her, be friends
R: I can enjoy being a mom to my child. I don’t compare myself to her or make it a competition.

I guess I’m just looking for feedback on these models and any other suggestions to take them a little deeper.
