Thanks so much for your suggestions and encouragement about the diagnosis of prediabetes and letting go of sugar and flour. Amazingly, my desire for making cookies and eating anything sweet is diminishing. I have lost a couple of pounds. However, I am now hungry ALOT. Especially in the later afternoon and overnight. I wake up in the middle of the night ravenous. I am regularly checking my blood sugar and it is looking good. Does this ravenous feeling diminish when the hormones finally balance out? I really don’t feel that great in the early morning hours. Has my ghrelin gone crazy? Is this one of those times where I have to be comfortable with being uncomfortable?? 🙂 Thanks so much for all your help!
