Being there for my husband


For a few years now, my husband has sometimes tics and physical pains.
For example, he may have some trouble breathing, so he continually tries to burp to feel better.
I really want to be there for him and I know how I want to show up: understanding that he doesn’t do it on purpose and that he just tries to feel better, so I’m supporting him as much as I can.
Sometimes, though, it’s so hard!! I feel like he’s not processing emotions (am I neither?!) and the consequences are all of these pains and noises!
It’s hard to keep on showing up, I’m annoyed by the situation!
Could you help me feel more in control?
