Hello coaches! I’ll need your help on this one 🙂 I realized that I have a belief that I will never feel better, that it is not possible for me to feel fulfilled. I don’t know what to do with that. Should I try the ladder technique and try to find a neutral thought that would be less painful?
Here’s my model:
C: I enrolled in scholars to improve my well being
T: I don’t believe that one day I will feel better
A: I end up giving up on any new skill or technique that could eventually help me feel better; I beat myself up when I feel sad, giving it the meaning that I failed and there’s no point in trying; I feel guilty and frustrated when I feel depressed
R: I fail ahead of time
