Blooming in Discomfort

Beautiful Friday, Brooke!

On yesterday’s call you said, ‘…if you want to run everyday or do yoga everyday… the only thing that stands between you and that result is discomfort.’

Six months into being a scholar I notice I start blooming in discomfort.

That knowing of what awaits me beyond that imaginary threshold of my own thinking is showing results in every area of my life.
I choose to complete each day and leave myself better than I found me when I woke up. In better shape, in stretching my writing abilities, in better relationships, in better understanding of my own mind and feelings. It’s almost as if I thrive on discomfort.

With gratitude.
