Body image and exercise

I have been exercising using heavier weights and notice that my upper body is starting to look a little bit like too much of an upside down triangle – too broad in the shoulders and chest, and I feel like it’s making me look too masculine.

I recognize that is a thought.

C shoulders and chest appear to be more broad
T i’m going to look too masculine if I continue doing this
F desire to stop working out
A stop working out
R no idea

So I want to find a new workout that will tone my body nicely but not cause bulking. I know everyone says heavy weights don’t cause bulking, but I swear with me, they do. I have a lot of muscle to begin with and have kind of a stocky build and I’m short, so I have to be careful.

But now I’m going in a circle in indecision. Some thoughts are:

I hate cardio
I don’t like orange theory
I could do yoga, but will that be enough to tone me?
fitness clubs are so expensive
I could do some yoga, some lower body weights at the gym, and the peloton for cardio

C I want to find a new workout that will tone my body nicely but not cause bulking.
T I could do some yoga, some lower body weights at the gym, and the peloton for cardio
F Overwhelm (that’s so much stuff to manage)
A Do nothing
R No idea

I’m stuck in overwhelm and indecision here, partly because I feel like I’m judging my body. I’d like to exercise because I like my body, not becuase I’m trying to change it, but this seems impossible.

Where can I take this?
