I am realizing that one of my main negative emotions is boredom. And I think that boredom is often the cause of my overindulging in web surfing and dessert. But I’m not sure what to do with this awareness. I try models, but is boredom a thought or a feeling? I’m also having trouble identifying the circumstances that cause the feeling. So here are my models:
C – ??
T – Life is boring
F – Boredom
A – buffer
R – still bored

C – ??
T – I’m bored
F – dissatisfied with life
A – buffering
R – still dissatisfied with life

Are these good models? How do I figure out the circumstance? And then what? Bridge thoughts? Massive action against boredom 😉
Just wondering whats your suggestion for taking this awareness and doing something with it.
