Boundary violation

Boundaries are so important yet I don’t really know if I fully understand them. After listening to your podcast on them multiple times and reading the Cloud/Townsend book I’m still not sure I get it. You say boundaries are a request and an action. But sometimes aren’t they just saying “No”(to what we don’t want) or “Yes”(to what we do want)? And a boundary violation, if I’m picking up what you’re putting down, is when someone infringes on your “space” (personal, property, emotional , physical, spiritual, etc)? Is that correct?

Thanks for being so lovely! I you so much.
