Neutralizing the C line makes a huge difference.

I didn’t realize how LOADED my C line was. It seemed like it was just facts. As soon as I found something that was truly neutral for me I had a profound breakthrough.

Before- C= My husband is in Zimbabwe
Way too loaded. Seems very factual. But for me Zimbabwe means: third world country, poor health care, he is risking his life.
T=He is going to die / he is stupid.
F=anger/ grief
A=argue with him,
R= Strain our relationship

I switched it to C: Husband’s location
And then it was easy to find a thought that serves me.
T= No matter where he is I love him.
R= Maintain intimacy and connection.

Thank you Brooke for this and all the coaches, you’re making a world of difference right now.
