Dear Brooke, I very rarely over-eat, over-drink or binge on Netflix. When I started to think about the buffers in my life the one thing that I felt I leaned on was coffee, just 2 or 3 cups a day but it felt like a buffer because I was reliant on it and turn to it under stress. I tried eliminating coffee (along with all sugar dairy and gluten) for 3 months but although I was eating healthily my mood and energy plummeted, even after I was well past the caffeine withdrawal phase. I’m drinking coffee again and feel “myself” but it’s bothering me that I have this dependency. Any thoughts?
