Buffering with thoughts


This is my firsth month with SCS and today I found myself wanting to buffer to avoid anxiety. I sat down to sit with the feeling and that led me through various thoughts that led to the anxiety and then trying on alternatives. My question is, what to do if the model is used as a buffer when we over analyze our thoughts on trying to find what led us to the feeling? It seems like it would be a good distraction taking away from the uncomfortable feeling.
