C: Expense Report is on my focus time many weeks in a row

I hate doing expense reports, and I have it listed on Monday hour one as “focus time,” and then I don’t schedule it, and I don’t do it. There are a few other tasks like this where I put them on my ‘to do’ download, and then I just don’t schedule them and they don’t get done. An expense report is just a good one to look at.

C: Expense Report is on my focus time list
T: It’s not a priority
F: Apathy
A: I don’t schedule it, and I don’t do it
R: Expense report doesn’t get done

Truth be told, I don’t want to do the expense report. The only reason I want them to be done is that when it’s NOT done, it starts to weigh on me and I don’t like that. I know it’s my thought causing the weighing on me feeling, too. So I can either change my thought so it doesn’t weigh on me when it doesn’t get done or, I can just do it.

Ultimately, I want to spend as little time as possible thinking about expense reports, period. I want to schedule maybe an hour once every two weeks, and I don’t want to think about it aside from that one-hour time spot. I’m going to put that in the R line.

C: Expense report on focus time list
T: Expense reports are a non-issue in my life – I got this
F: On top of things
A: I do the report in the scheduled one-hour time slot
R: Report gets completed in a one-hour time slot every two weeks

I think that’s the model I’d have to be living in.

Or, even this one:

C: Expense report on focus time list
T: I’m good at expense reports and they’re easy for me
F: Motivated
A: Sit down and easily do the report. I’d also have to assess if an hour is enough time. I’d have to plan on having patience so that I can find my receipts and deal with issues that arise.
R: I get expense reports done with ease
