I want a good marriage more than almost anything But I feel my husband doesn’t understand me on a deep level. He is willing, but is he capable, honestly, of restating, having feedback, etc.? I am seeking an emotional deep partner. He is literally awesome in every other way – kindness, parenting, selflessness., and more. My thought – T – is frequently, “he doesn’t understand me.” I need to replace that with something that I can believe and leads me to a better result. Because the thought, “he doesn’t understand me” leads me to more distance between us.
