I feel like he is saying I’m lazy and I should keep the house clean to his standards which are high because it’s his way or no way. There are days where it’s absolutely great but most of the time it’s silence, no communication, it’s “You didn’t do this. This house is a mess. Why didn’t you lay out dinner? I’m tired of eating sandwiches. Why did you let her (our daughter) do that?” Or “Why are you doing it this way and not that way? Why are you working harder and not smarter?” Like he thinks it’s his way or no way at all. For example, if the hardwood floors are going horizontal and I’m mopping vertical he’ll say your not supposed to mop that way…like he’s always negative and not appreciative over the floor is getting mopped he has something negative to say over everything.
