Changing beliefs – further direction please

Dear Coaches

You answered my question recently about my beliefs and how to change them. Your answer was:

“Before we begin the work of changing our beliefs, we have to first recognize that we DID choose them, even if it was subconscious.
Taking ownership of what you have believed (and maybe still do) and created for yourself is what will allow you to shift those beliefs on purpose.
This isn’t the same as self blame. It’s responsibility which puts you back in the drivers seat of your life.
Once you have become aware of your thinking and taken ownership of all of it, then you can begin to explore new belief systems that serve you better”

Can you please explain how I can take ownership of them through this work, and what to do next? I don’t understand. What would this look like with thought work?
