Can you speak to how one can be both a coach and a role model in a coaching relationship?
My perception is that many of us see you, Brooke, as a role model (I certainly do) and this is likely what draws a lot of clients to you.
You also state that you want to be an example of what’s possible — this is very close to my definition of being a role model for others.
I’m just getting started in my coaching practice but I have a solid online presence already, and I sense that what will draw clients to me will be (their perception of) the things I’ve accomplished, my approach to life, and areas in which they look up to me.
Do I just let that be their T line? I can’t help feeling this will play into how my clients receive my coaching, and I want to make sure I use it with full integrity and in their best interest.
Thank you!
