Coaching myself during TD

Dear coaches!

I could really use your advice.
I am going through the Coach Certification at the moment – so coaching myself and others a lot. Have realized that lately, I am really struggling with my TD’s. I can’t get to my raw thoughts anymore – I notice a thought and the next moment I am already exploring it, creating intentional thoughts etc.

For example:
“I feel angry towards my son. Why is he so slow and uninterested?
I should change my thinking about it.
He doesn’t have to change for me to feel good. ”

How do I go back to just doing a nice, raw TD? These type of TD don’t help me, because there is so much more happening in my head.
