Comfort without Food

When life feels really hard, and emotions are high – how do you just be with all of that intensive emotion? Food is used to distract. How do you distract without food? How do you feel a little comfort when food has been that comfort? How do you turn off the buffering and turn on the willingness to feel? Especially in the moment when you’re already highly emotional and your brain is screaming at you to grab food because that is the pattern.
