Dear Brooke,

I’ve been trying to get a handle on food & weight issues for over 30 years. I have been a Scholar since the beginning, and have picked up and put down the protocol probably 12 times since January. I HAVE HAD IT WITH LETTING MYSELF DOWN. I hereby commit to you, to my fellow Scholars, and to myself, that I am sticking on my protocol for the entire rest of September, no joy eats, no exceptions. My goal for September is to lose 10 pounds, but whether or not I lose all 10 I will consider it a huge success to stay on protocol each day.

I feel like it will be the hardest thing I have ever done in my life, but luckily I can do hard things. And I could not ask for more support than I get here, through you and through your brilliant programs, and this community.
