Hi Brooke,
I am in my first month of scholars and I have noticed that as I go through the program I discover new ways of thinking about circumstances. However I seem to have a hard time in following through or remembering to think that same thought that promotes the positive action each time I encounter the same circumstance. It is difficult to remember to think a new way about things when I am in the midst of a heated situation or a situation that has historically left me with negative feelings. What can I do to train my brain to better remember how to handle, anticipate, and ultimately conquer these situations differently?
