Commitment / reason for weight loss


I have been digging and digging for a compelling reason to lose weight, but for every single one that I come up with, I immediately feel doubt that it’s a reason that will crumble when confronted wth a desire or urge to eat.

C – “compelling reason” for losing weight chosen
T – not a good enough reason, I’ll still overeat
F – doubt
A – don’t follow protocol
R – not losing weight

Should I continue to refine my reason, or just pick one and work on changing my thoughts? I keep hearing that the reason needs to be compelling to me, but I’m starting to think that no reason is going to be strong enough unless I change my thoughts. Thanks!
