Conditioned Response


I’ve noticed that I’m conditioned to eat as soon as I walk through the door coming home from work. We meal prep and have been doing this for a while so I’m used to eating as soon as I get home. I like this because I’m eating earlier in the evening instead of right before bed. But I’ve noticed that if it takes me any time at all to prepare planned food then I’m just grabbing what is readily available. This reminds me of Pavlov’s dogs. Any insights as to how to change the thought that I have to eat as soon as I walk through the door from work?
