Hi Brooke! In working through June’s Week 1confidence list assignment, I realized that for many areas of confidence I wrote down, my initial, gut response for my reason/though about it why I was confident was “because people tell me so” or “because I get compliments.” Writing and cooking are two examples. And while I am confident in my writing and cooking abilities, I really had to search beyond the external feedback I get to say why. I was glad for this awareness, but would love to hear any thought you have about it. How can I focus less on seeking external approval before I believe something on my own? Thank you!
