Coping Thoughts

It seems like whenever I get frustrated at someone or they did something that I perceive to be wrong, my mind wants to come up with reasons why it’s not a bad thing. For example, my hairdresser didn’t style my hair and I get frustrated. Then my mind doesn’t want to think that so then it will go to “Well, at least she didn’t use up electricity” or “Then you had more time afterwards.” Is this in attempt to avoid the conflict in some way? Or avoidance of my true feelings?
