Covid Panic

Hi, I would like your help with the result of the first unintentional model and your suggestions to make it better.

-Unintentional Model
– C: Completed the first practicum call. E comes back from school. His temperature is 106 F. Coaching call with Peer scheduled to start.
– T: He might have Covid
– F: Panic
– A: Connect to the call, don’t listen, do not engage, explain that I will have to limit the call to exactly 1h. Decide to leave the call 30 minutes through. Go and see E. Eat off protocol. Resist emotion. Blame me for not canceling the call as soon as I found out that he had a high fever. Feeling guilty. Not present with either of my sons. Spinning thoughts with a worst-case scenario

– Intentional Model
– C: Completed the first practicum call. E comes back from school. His temperature is 106 F. Coaching call with Peer scheduled to start.
– T: Most important things first: taking care of E
– F: Focused
– A: Connect to call, explain the situation, and excuse myself. Go and see E. Present, calm, comfort him by staying next to him. Not buffering with food. Allow my brain to give me the worst-case scenario and allow the emotions of fear and panic. Tell my primitive brain I’ve got this. Ask my husband to give me the number for the clinic we go to. Call.
– R: I show up the way I want to
