I did it. I asked for a raise. I asked to have a clarity about my earning potential, a bonus schedule and equity in my fast growing company. The CEO phoned me, immediately and told me, “Give me 6 months and we’ll be able to double your salary but I need time” And, with that, I felt amazing, reenergized, happy. And, not because I have the potential to double salary but now, my desire to earn more is no longer a distraction.
