Today I was surprised to see my daughter home early from work. She said she asked to leave early because she was being teased by her supervisor and coworkers about her height and it made her feel insecure.

I went through the same thing growing up. I’m 5’11” and she’s 6 ft so I completely know how it feels.

I know she didn’t want me to tell her it’s her thoughts about it that making her feel insecure. She wanted my to relate and love her. She’s a strong young lady and I want to help her understand that them teasing her wasn’t about her, she can show up to work and not feel insecure but confident.
