Day 5 Dare Complete


Last week I requested a credit on an invoice from a vendor due initially to an error on their part and then another error on my end. We have been working with this vendor for 10+ years and have given them A LOT of business.

I received an invoice today saying they could credit us the amount for their error but couldn’t credit us for the error on my part.

My little bad girl side of me came out and initially felt bad and stupid for making the error to begin with. Then I changed my thought process and shifted to a more positive thought.

I called my rep and told her that I completely take responsibility for the error on my part however it just didn’t feel right that they couldn’t work with me.

She said “that’s all I needed to hear. I’m going to go back to them and make sure you get the credit”.
