When I have a negative emotion / feel pain , do you recommend looking for the thought that is creating the emotion (in order to change it)?
Or would you recomment accepting the feeling and just observe it?
I am intrigued about what Brooke said in the last coaching call about pain (“Pain- bring it on!” / “Today is about pain”).
However, I fluctuate between the two concepts: “changing the thought behind the feeling” vs. “accepting and feeling it”.
Lately I am feeling a little depressed and sad. I could either recognize the deceptive brain messages behind that feeling. Or I could simply breathe in and out and accept that they are days in which I feel a little depressed.
