Yes, I know the title is a thought. I had a plan to change my life. Moving. Ending an unfulfilling relationship. Changing careers. Scary and exciting. Now, I have been diagnosed with herpes. (My husband has it but I (thought) had never gotten it in our 15 years of marriage.) Now, the future feels dark and limited. I can’t even imagine getting out in the world as a single person now. I’ve lost my mojo and I feel like this is really a circumstance not just a thought. I mean, who has anything but negative thoughts about herpes? Help.
