It seems to me that if big companies put thought and effort into thinking and deciding what message their brand is delivering (Apple immediately comes to mind), that perhaps we should do that as solopreneurs too. And I am not talking about the colors of our website or the logo design, but rather what our brand, whatever we sell, stands for.

My (aspiring) business is to bring value with storytelling. Specifically, one-hour Drama TV scripts.

Should I consider from the get-go what my brand is as a writer?
Have YOU made a deliberate decision towards your brand early on, or did your brand emerge as a result of how you basically showed up?
