Didn’t achieve goal , now what?

Hi Brooke,
I did my thought download this morning and uncovered this lingering thought –
I am not achieving my goal X. I am not spending as much time in it as I wanted to. I am failing.

I realized I was going to beat myself up for it and stopped before my mind went into usual thoughts on such situations – See, you can’t do it all. This is incomplete now. you just started it for the sake of it. you could have just not begun it , this is worse (which is actually not).

Now, how should I actually handle this? I don’t want to beat myself up, but I do realize I did not do my best work with this goal – too much work, toddler, friends, vacation all came in between and I let this goal slip down in priority.

what are some constructive thoughts and models I could run?
