Hi Brooke, I am about seven pounds from goal weight and feeling good! Last night I decided to make brownies for my boys. Part of me thought “this is not a good idea, I am tired and I LOVE brownie mix and I will definiteley eat some!” but then another part of me thought “maybe this is good practice at managing my urges”, so I made the brownies, the boys were delighted (very few desserts at our house!) and I didn’t have even the TINIEST of licks. I felt proud. My question is about the 100 urges concept — should we seek opportunities to have them or simply notice and record as they come up. I started reflceting that in general I ALWAYS give in to my urges so this feels like an important step in the process…any thoughts? xoxo, Pretty Darn Skinny Mom
