Long time listener, first time caller. Loving SCS – thank you for launching this new format. My most persistent debilitating emotion is shame and it is triggered most virulently after I do any type of public speaking, which is happening more frequently as I move my business forward. Success is creating more opportunities which is great, the vicious feelings coming up, not so great. I did a radio interview 24 hours ago and have been carrying a heavy purse of emotion ever since. The thought that inspires me to keep going is – I want to be a confident and articulate public speaker and I’m willing to do the work to be good at public speaking. My question is how do I discern when I am creating space/being present for the heavy emotions and when I’m indulging/perpetuating them?
