Discomfort

Hi Brooke,

It’s really starting to click with me that a willingness to experience discomfort is the key to take my life to the next level. But could you help clarify something for me please?

If, for example, I was experiencing frustration, do I feel that all the way through until I no longer feel it, then look at what thoughts were creating it, learn from it and change those thoughts? Or do I change the thoughts while I’m feeling the frustration? Or is that resisting the feeling?

I was painting my son’s room today and felt a familiar feeling of resistance stemming from the thought “this is so hard”. I tried different thoughts to see if I could come from a more positive, constructive energy, but then wondered should I just be allowing and noticing this feeling instead?

Love to hear your thoughts on this. Thank you!
