I decided on a breakfast protocol of yogurt, berries, granola, and almonds and this morning when I prepared it I had the urge to go out and get a bagel instead.
I waited ten minutes, that urge subsided and I proceeded to finish preparing the planned meal. As I tasted the plain yogurt, it felt, well, plain, so I added maple syrup, even though I decided ‘no flour, no sugar’ on my protocol.
Do I get the bead then or not? My brain says, ‘Well, you didn’t get that bagel…that’s something…’
